Tharanga Madarasinghe

Tharanga is an Executive Director of Accqua Global Services. He is well equipped with diverse finance and finance transformation experience across various geographies like Paris, Dubai, Gurgaon (India) and Colombo over two decades and served leading MNCs like Zurich, Aviva as well as some large regional financial services establishments like Emirated NBD bank and Sukoon Insurance in the UAE.
He is part of AIG MENA regional management team which spearheaded the mega project of transitioning the entire Middle East and North African operation to AIG Centre of Excellence” in Gurgaon India.
Tharanga was part of the management and process migration specialist of “Tanfeeth” UAE, the first large-scale shared services establishment in the Gulf and fully owned subsidiary of Emirates NBD banking Group.
Prior to this position, he was a Vice President of Finance, Head of Financial Reporting and Tax of Sukoon Insurance PSC ( known as Oman Insurance) the largest publicly listed Insurer in the UAE. During his tenure, Tharanga led two large and complex technical implementations of Value Added Tax and IFRS 17 for both the UAE and the Sultanate of Oman.
Tharanga is a fellow member of both Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA-UK) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA – USA). He is also a Certified Public Accountant by CPA Australia.
Jayantha Wijewardhana

Jayantha is an Executive Director at Accqua Global Services. He is a shared services expert and was a core team member and subject matter expert ‘ Arabian (“GCC”) accounting operation from Dubai, UAE to the state-of-the-art "AIG Centre of Excellence" facility in Gurgaon, India for American International Group (“AIG”). Jayantha has extensive experience in diverse finance and finance transformation across various locations including Colombo, Dubai, Gurgaon and New York.
Before his current position, Jayantha worked as a Senior Manager for Controllership, General Ledger, and Reconciliation at Sukoon Insurance PSC (known as Oman Insurance Company - OIC), which is the largest public listed company in UAE. During his time with Sukoon, he involved in large-scale implementation projects such as VAT and IFRS 17. He was also a part of the team that implemented IFRS 9 and IFRS 16.
Jayantha is a Member of the Institute of Chartered of Sri Lanka (ICASL) and holder of a BSc. Business Administration Degree from the University of Jayewardenepura.
